Crown Home Builders, LLC, of Summerville builds custom homes in all price ranges. New products include Crown Cabins, as well as European style state-of-the-art Crown Wine Storages filled with very exclusive Winthrop Wines.

Established in 2007, Crown Homes West Indies Inc. builds high end villas and condos (Antigua), as well as affordable houses.

Crown Homes West Indies employs hand-picked local workers, trained and supervised by our U.S. and European building specialists. Since we ship 80% ready to go SIP panels from Charleston, we can build fast. Crown Home Builders is active both offshore - using specially prepared sea containers and proven logistics - as well as in the USA.

Thomas M. Brown is a Project Manager of Crown Home Builders LLC.

Active in the building industry since 1980, Tom earned all his specialty licenses step by step: from electricity to vinyl siding, from HardiePlank to high end decoration. You name it, Tom Brown is known for on-time delivery, and respected for perfection in craftsmanship. All projects, whatever the price tag, get his maximum personal attention. Tom loves to share his longtime professional experience on multi-million dollar mansions with first-time owners as well as experienced investors. The majority of his employees have been with him since he started his own company in 1988.

Gert Jan Eikmans is the owner of Crown Home Builders LLC.

His (MS) degrees are in Marketing and Public Relations. He purchased this company after moving to America in 2006. He has senior executive with extensive (international) experience in leading organizations through change, finding new products plus opportunities, and building cohesive teams. He has an excellent background in communication and marketing, in particular with health care and real estate in both the private and federal sector. He is experienced in managing employees and running large complex organizations. He is a motivational speaker, teacher, home builder and developer. Both he and his company are debt free and his construction and development projects have been self financed.

David E. Franklin, PE & LS, is Vice President of Crown Home Builders LLC.

He retired in September 2008 after nearly 22 years of service from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast in Charleston, SC. He was a design and construction manager for military construction projects and was responsible for the overall coordination during the design phase and revolving design issues during construction. He is experienced in managing projects at the Charleston Air Force Base. Mr. Franklin was the Project Manager for the initial 160 unit Family Housing project, FY 90 REIM MCON P-FA17, Peary Court, NAS Key West, FL. Since 1981 (prior to his service with NAVFAC) and since his retirement he has owned or operated a Design/Build Construction Company. He holds Unlimited General Contracting and Mechanical Contracting Licensing qualifications in South Carolina.

Patricia V. Franklin, PE, is Chief Financial Officer of Crown Home Builders LLC.

She has a BS degree in Nuclear Engineering and a MS degree in Engineering Administration. She is licensed professional engineer in South Carolina and Tennessee. Mrs. Franklin recently retired after twenty-one years from Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast. She was the Acting Business Line Coordinator of the Real Estate Services Business Line, NAVFAC SE is the Department of Defensive Design and Construction Agent for 8 states in the southeast United States and the Caribbean. Her business line has the responsibility for providing real estate services to the entire Area of Responsibility. The business line was also responsible for the Navy Housing Public-Private Ventures which is privatizing the housing at all of our installations. She managed a team of 25 realty specialists, appraisers and support staff.

Steve Humbert is a Project Manager of Crown Home Builders LLC.

He has worked in various capacities in the construction industry since 1970. He has developed from manual laborer to estimating and project manager positions. He is an accomplish carpenter, electrician, plumber and HVAC installer as well as being very capable in any work of the construction process. He has a strong relationship with the team members and is the overall field coordinator. He has successfully managed high volume housing projects at multiple locations such as Snee Farm Community, Ashley Crossing Apartments, The Commons, Crowfield Plantation with overall production rates as high as 1500 family units per year.

Phill Rosenbaum is a Project Manager of Crown Home Builders LLC.

He has been a licensed Residential Builder since 2003 in the Charleston market. He is now applying for General Contracting. Mr. Rosenbaum has a BA degree in Economics and Business Management. He is experienced as General Manager for many years. He served in US Army, E-5, Honorable Discharged and was a personal staff General Hollings, Alaska.
